Visiting research fellowship at NUPI in Oslo
In February and March 2024, ANCIP fellow, Camille Vern, spent two months as a visiting research fellow at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI). During her time in Oslo, Camille learned to navigate the icy streets of the Norwegian capital, enjoyed the exchange with NUPI colleagues and joined meetings of the research group Peace, Conflict and Development.
She used her time in Oslo to learn about the work of partners of the African Union Department for Political Affairs, Peace and Security, while conducting interviews on the AU Network of African Women in Conflict Prevention and Mediation, and the inclusion of women in mediation.
Thank you to all the generous colleagues at NUPI who welcomed me in their team, and to all the interlocutors in Oslo who took time to share their insights and expertise with me!
