Research stay at the AU headquarters
In February 2025, ANCIP research fellow, Camille Vern, spent two weeks in Addis Ababa to conduct concluding interviews for her PhD project on the AU Panel of the Wise.
She was privileged to speak to individuals at the AU headquarters, and attend high-level panels organized around the AU Summit 2025, the 38th Session of the Assembly of Heads of States and Government.
Among those were a High-Level Panel organised by the Norwegian Permanent Delegation to the AU, with the IPSS and Amani Africa, “Building Partnerships for Inclusive and Sustainable Peace and Development” as well as a Special Policy Dialogue “The outcomes of the 38th AU Summit: Turning point for repositioning the AU for a new era?”, by ECOSOCC and Amani Africa.
