Introducing the ANCIP Policy Papers and Working Papers Series
ANCIP is pleased to announce the launch of two new publication series: the ANCIP Policy Brief and the ANCIP Working Papers. The series are dedicated to providing information on ongoing research, exploring novel topics, and generating policy advice on topics related to African non-military conflict intervention practices.
The ANCIP Policy Briefs are designed to provide concise insights on timely issues in African peace and security. Each policy brief offers focused recommendations for policymakers and researchers, grounded in empirical research. The inaugural ANCIP Policy Paper, Institutionalizing Women, Peace, and Security: Lessons Learned from FemWise-Africa by Camille Vern, explores the achievements and challenges of integrating women in conflict prevention and mediation.
The ANCIP Working Papers provide a more comprehensive exploration of critical topics and preliminary findings of our ongoing research. The first ANCIP Working Paper, Inclusivity and Resistance: Lessons from Peace Agreement Monitoring and Oversight Mechanisms in Africa by Dimpho Deleglise and Gilbert Khadiagala, examines peace agreement oversight across multiple case studies, offering valuable insights for practitioners and researchers.
New publications from the ANCIP project can be found on our publications page.
